Context
The mission of the Division of Health Emergencies (WHE) is to build the capacity of Member States to assess, prevent and manage health emergency risks, and lead and coordinate the international health response to contain outbreaks and to provide effective relief and recovery to affected populations.
The WHE Division brings together and enhances WHO's operational, technical and normative capacities in outbreaks, emergencies and risk analysis to address all health hazards across the risk management cycle in a predictable, capable, dependable, adaptable and accountable manner.
The Programme is designed to operate within the broader humanitarian and emergency management architecture in support of people at risk of, or affected by, outbreaks and emergencies, consistent with ways that strengthen local and national capabilities.
Task description
1. Facilitate and coordinate the HR administrative recruitment processes in full compliance with WHO rules, regulations, and HR policies and guidelines:- Activities and processes related to supporting the recruitment of Fixed-Term, and Temporary Staff (all categories),- Pre-screening of the candidate’s recruitment profile as necessary.- Organizes meetings, and teleconferences, with the selection panels and all related logistics; ensure completeness of all documentation and information for the meeting.- Support the arrangements of interviewing and online testing, scheduling interviews, arranging for video conferencing facilities, and monitoring of testing.- Assist applicants under selection and ensures that support and accurate and complete information is provided in a timely manner.- Maintaining HR managers with the routine upkeep of HR tables for tracking HR-related processes.
2. Initiate the onboarding and follow up with the applicants to ensure the timely completion of the process.
3. Maintain and update internal database and files on administrative HR matters confidentially and securely.
4. Support the HR team members in consultants’ clearance process/administrative activities.
5. Cooperate with admin assistant to ensure the update and compliance of WHO CO mailing list.
6. Online filing of HR documentation on Shared drive.
7. Perform any other duty as requested by HR managers
Requirements for candidates:
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in HR or Administration experience required
- Excellent oral and written skills; excellent drafting, formulation, and reporting skills;
- Accuracy and professionalism in document production and editing;
- Bachelor degree or equivalent in in business administration, Management or any other relevant area
- Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required
- English, Level: Working knowledge, Required
