ENAMINE, a leading global research company specializing in fine organic synthesis, is looking for accountant (sole) to join our dynamic team in Riga, Latvia. Our company is at the forefront of pharmaceutical and biotechnological research, collaborating with world-renowned organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the accounting operations for the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
- Full-cycle corporate accounting.
- Processing and checking various accounting reports.
- Writing and updating finance internal policies and instructions, coordinating necessary approvals with internal stakeholders
- Accrual and payment of salaries, vacations and sick leave.
- Accounting for fixed assets and calculating depreciation .
- Accounting for receivables and payables
- Accounting for foreign economic activity
- Banking and cash transactions.
- Tax accounting.
Requirements:
- Higher education in accounting or financial management
- At least 5+ years of experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Knowledge of LV and EU tax policy;
- Accuracy, teamwork skills and the ability to work independently;
- Ability to work with electronic documents;
- Proficiency with MS Office and accounting software.
- Knowledge of Latvian, oral and written communication in English, Ukrainian will be a plus.
