Accountant(NGO)
Our client - Agency for restoration and revitalization, working in the regions of Kyiv and Chernyhiv with the head office in Kyiv is looking for an accountant with knowledge of English to join the team.
Responsibilities:
- Process, enter, and control accounting data and documents.
- Manage and monitor supplier accounts, advances, and balances.
- Prepare and verify accounting documents.
- Maintain and reconcile financial records.
- Prepare financial reports (monthly statements, budget monitoring, etc.).
- Process payments and manage treasury operations.
- Prepare documentation for audit and compliance checks.
- Review supporting documents related to grants and financial transactions.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Financial Management (minimum secondary education +3 years of study).
Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role.
Skills:
- Experience with accounting software.
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping (accrual accounting).
- Proficiency in the partner country’s language (French or English is an asset).
