Our client – a European company specialising in aerospace and defence industries is looking for a Logistics Officer to join their team in Ukraine. The company pioneers cutting-edge UAV technology, providing advanced, cost-effective solutions for modern defence operations worldwide.
About the Role
As a Logistics Officer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that every shipment arrives on time, at the right place, and with maximum efficiency. From managing warehouse operations to tracking transport deviations, you’ll work at the heart of the supply chain, driving synchronization and reducing inefficiencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure Smooth Operations: Maintain perfect synchronization between multiple warehouses and the manufacturing process to avoid disruptions.
- Manage Shipment Accuracy: Track, record, and resolve shipment deviations, ensuring supplier non-conformance issues are logged and addressed.
- Optimize Costs & Transparency: Identify and capture exception expenses related to logistics and transport, ensuring accurate cost allocation.
- Enhance Coordination: Collaborate with purchasing, engineering, and production teams to ensure timely deliveries and stock availability.
- Streamline Processes: Continuously refine logistics workflows, implement best practices, and support improvements in warehouse management.
Main Requirements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a structured approach.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse coordination within a high-tech or industrial setting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and transport management tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to liaise across departments and suppliers.
- Fluency in English and Ukrainian.
Would be a Plus
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) for logistics and warehouse management.
- Familiarity with cost optimization strategies in logistics operations.
- Experience with manufacturing supply chains.
