We are looking for Senior Business Analyst (BA) for German educational project:
Requirements:
Experience & Background:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in complex business domains, preferably in education technology, media workflows, or enterprise SaaS solutions.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and developers.
- Familiarity with educational platforms, LMS (Learning Management Systems), or content management workflows is a plus.
Process Analysis & Documentation:
- Strong expertise in analyzing, modeling, and documenting business processes using BPMN, UML, or other industry-standard notations.
- Ability to define workflows, business rules, and system interactions clearly and comprehensively.
- Experience in conducting requirements elicitation, stakeholder interviews, and workshops.
Agile & Product Development:
- Hands-on experience as an Agile Business Analyst, working within Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe frameworks.
- Strong understanding of requirement decomposition into clear, actionable, and independent user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Experience in writing Epics, Features, and User Stories in tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
Technical & System Understanding:
- Solid understanding of technical concepts, including API structures, microservices, databases, and front-end/back-end interactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with development teams regarding system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
- Experience in working with RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations is an advantage.
UX/UI Awareness:
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles, with the ability to analyze and suggest improvements for usability and accessibility.
- Experience working with designers to ensure that requirements translate into intuitive user interfaces.
- Familiarity with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Balsamiq) is a plus.
Language & Communication:
- Fluent English and German (B2/C1 level or higher) to communicate effectively with stakeholders, users, and developers in both languages.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills for leading meetings, demos, and requirement-gathering sessions.
Additional Considerations (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with compliance requirements in educational systems (e.g., GDPR, accessibility standards).
- Prior experience with AI integration
