As a Lead Generation Specialist in the Business Development - Americas team at Room 8 Group, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities through targeted outreach and strategic prospecting in the game development industry. Your primary responsibilities will include researching and analyzing potential markets, identifying high-value prospects, and developing data-driven strategies to engage potential clients effectively. 

You will collaborate closely with the Business Development team to design and execute impactful lead generation efforts, track performance metrics, and continuously refine your approach to optimize results. Success in this role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a strong analytical mindset, and a proactive, results-oriented approach to business development. 

Superpowers you have: 

  • Experience: 1+ years in lead generation, sales, or business development, preferably in the gaming, tech, or creative industries. 

  • English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher, with strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Research Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, identify potential clients, and gather relevant business insights. 

  • Communication & Outreach: Strong ability to engage with prospects via different communication channels with a persuasive and professional approach. 

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to track, analyze, and optimize lead generation efforts based on key performance metrics. 

  • Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with sales and business development teams to align strategies. 

  • Self-Motivation & Proactivity: Strong initiative and goal-oriented approach to identifying and pursuing business opportunities. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Prior experience in the game development industry or a strong understanding of gaming markets, studios, and publishers. 

  • Familiarity with B2B sales processes and lead nurturing strategies. 

Becoming part of Room 8 Group, you will: 

Lead Generation & Prospecting: 

  • Identify and research potential clients, partners, and publishers in the gaming industry. 

  • Develop and maintain a database of qualified leads using CRM tools. 

  • Utilize various channels (email, LinkedIn, industry events, networking) to reach out to potential clients. 

  • Analyze industry trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. 

Outreach & Engagement: 

  • Craft compelling outreach messages tailored to the needs of gaming studios. 

  • Engage with prospects through different communication channels. 

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospects and the business development team. 

  • Maintain strong relationships with potential clients to nurture leads into long-term partnerships. 

Collaboration & Strategy: 

  • Work closely with the internal stakeholders to align lead generation efforts with company goals. 

  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving lead generation strategies based on data analysis. 

Data Tracking & Reporting: 

  • Track and analyze the performance of outreach campaigns, optimizing strategies based on results. 

  • Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and progress in CRM systems. 

  • Report on key metrics such as lead conversion rates and pipeline growth. 

Industry Research & Market Intelligence: 

  • Stay up-to-date with gaming industry trends, emerging markets, and key players. 

  • Identify new opportunities within different gaming segments (AAA, indie, mobile, etc.).
