Betinvest is an international product company in the sports technology sector. For over 20 years, we have been creating innovative solutions for the iGaming industry, with a focus on esports, fast sports, and AI-driven products.
Currently, we’re expanding our analytics team and are looking for a Data Scientist / ML Engineer to help us develop, improve, and fine-tune mathematical models for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize mathematical and machine learning models for forecasting and analytics.
- Prepare, process, and analyze large datasets.
- Collaborate with analysts, developers, and sports experts to create models that enhance prediction accuracy.
- Test, validate, and improve ML models based on performance results.
What We Expect
- Proficiency in Python.
- Experience with pandas and scikit-learn libraries.
- Understanding of core machine learning concepts, including:
- Ensemble algorithms (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, XGBoost, CatBoost);
- Regularization methods (L1, L2, Dropout);
- Stratification and cross-validation.
- Experience with TensorFlow and TensorFlow Probability (including fully connected (MLP) architectures).
- Understanding of common training challenges — vanishing/exploding gradients, overfitting.
- Solid knowledge of linear algebra, discrete mathematics, and statistics.
- English — Intermediate (B1+) level or higher.
