CRH team in Ukraine includes Mykolaivcement, Kamianets-Podilskyi, and Odesa cement plants, as well as a cement terminal and the headquarters of CRH Ukraine in Vyshneve, Kyiv region. CRH also operates in the concrete and reinforced concrete products sector in Ukraine. The Bila Tserkva-based “PoliBeton Energo” precast concrete plant specializes in manufacturing power transmission line supports. ASTOR is a network of concrete plants operating in the Kyiv region and Odesa. 

ASTOR (ASTOR. Мережа бетонних заводів) is seeking for a Head of Legal, who will provide legal support of Company’s day-to-day business activity, effectively manage the ASTOR Legal team, participate in various projects, and/or ad-hoc legal matters.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• To facilitate, monitor and ensure that the Company is conducting its business in full compliance with all national and international legislation and regulations as well as professional standards, accepted business practices, and internal Company's standards to deliver good organisational outcomes.
• To support legally day-to-day business activity (commercial, production, supply chain, corporate, other functions).
• To manage efficiently legal team.
• To advise management and other stakeholders on complex legal issues suggesting options for elimination and mitigation risks.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in law.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as in-house lawyer, including in manufacturing enterprises, and at least 2 years of managerial experience.
• English – intermediate+.
• Skills to plan and lead projects following tight deadlines.
• High ethical standards, methodical and diligent whilst keeping in mind the values and objectives of the Company.
• High-level of attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and written skills.
• Able to influence tone from the top and drive positive cultural environment.
• Responsible, pro-active, time and tasks management skills.
