What we are looking for:

We are looking for an innovative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our team in designing a next-generation SaaS newsroom control system. You will be responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences that support the complex workflows of newsroom professionals, including real-time content management, workflow automation, and video streaming. Your work will directly impact how news and media teams interact with our platform and streamline their day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research to understand the unique needs of newsroom professionals and translate insights into user-centric design solutions.
• Design and prototype intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for a real-time newsroom control system.
• Work closely with product managers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure UX aligns with functional requirements and technical feasibility.
• Design seamless workflows and task flows for complex processes such as video streaming, media management, and content collaboration.
• Develop wireframes, interactive prototypes, and user flows that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously refine and improve the user experience.
• Define and maintain design standards and style guides that support a cohesive, branded user experience across the product.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English
• Experience: 4+ years of experience in UX design, preferably within SaaS, media, or content management systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of UX research methodologies, user-centered design principles, and usability best practices.
• Workflow Design: Experience in designing complex workflows for media applications or content management is highly desirable.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present design concepts and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail with a strong eye for visual balance, typography, and spacing.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AWS video services and media applications, including an understanding of video streaming and content management requirements.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively collaborate with the development team.
