We are hiring a talented General Accountant to join our Kyiv team at PaymentWall, part of our global company. You’ll be collaborating with a motivated team and contributing to innovative projects that impact global payment solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
- Balance general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entries.
- Maintain historical records by filing documents.
- Coordinate and collaborate with finance teams across entities to gather and consolidate financial data, ensuring adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Maintain the consolidation process for multiple entities, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial results and statements.
- Perform financial analysis and review variances between actual and budgeted results, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; filing reports and advising management on needed actions.
- Have weekly updates for the Board.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing inquiries related to consolidations and multi-entity reporting.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations related to consolidations and multi-entity reporting, proactively assessing their impact on the organization.
- Assist in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- At least have 3 years experience in Accounting, Finance.
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.
- Experience with preparation of consolidated reporting.
- Experience in a multinational or multi-entity environment is preferred.
- Knowledge in US GAAP.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles and practices, including consolidations, intercompany transactions.
- Data analytical skills: great & deep research skills.
- Upper-intermediate level of written and spoken English.
Nice to have:
- Strong understanding of US tax filing procedures and regulations would be a big +.
- ACCA, CFA or CPA qualification is highly preferred, but not required.
- Experience with using accounting and tax software, especially Quickbooks, Turbo tax would be a big +.
- Experience with US tax filing would be a big +.
