Electrical Design Engineer

Due to the expansion of international project activities, we are looking for a design engineer in the field of R&A for our complex projects department of Siemens Energy LLC, Kyiv.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of a set of design documentation for substations with a voltage class of 110 - 330 kV, making changes, revisions to secondary connection diagrams (RZiA) - the appearance of cabinets, the layout of equipment in the cabinet, electrical diagrams, a list of elements, cable sheets - using CAD systems, taking into account current norms and rules, as well as customer requirements; 
• Preparation of necessary supporting documents for the client and production; 
• Collaboration with engineers from headquarters (Siemens Energy, Germany), coordination of concepts, technical and design specifications.

Requirements for the applicant:

• Complete higher electrical engineering education (specialties "Power Plants", "Electrical Networks and Systems" will be a plus); 
• Good understanding of the principles of building protection and control systems for high-voltage substations; 
• Knowledge of all stages of project documentation development, understanding of the principles of cabinet installation and assembly; 
• Knowledge of CAD systems (knowledge of AUTOCAD, EPLAN / Engineering Base will be a plus); 
• Knowledge of English (reading technical documentation, good conversational skills), knowledge of German would be a plus; 
• Ability to work in a team, initiative, ability to learn, focus on achieving results and quality, analytical mindset; 
• Desire to participate in international projects; 
• Willingness to travel abroad;
• Work experience in a similar position of 2 years or more
