Leading Expert (Lending office, international markets)

Continental Farmers Group is one of the leading companies in the Ukrainian agricultural sector. We operate in Western Ukraine, cultivating 195 thousand hectares, and unite about 2.5 thousand professionals. We are looking for a Leading Expert (Lending office, international markets) to join our team.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience within the financial sector, preferably in banking as a relationship manager with a focus on large-scale lending and investments for big holdings, or in the treasury department of a trading or agricultural company.
• Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in building and maintaining productive business relationships with both local and international counterparties.
• Knowledge of the agricultural industry and familiarity with the grains trading sector is an advantage.
• Comprehensive understanding of various credit products, including working capital financing, investment loans, leasing;
• Experience with trade finance, export collection, marine cargo insurance, credit insurance, and hedging instruments is a plus.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken (minimum Upper Intermediate level), with the ability to engage in professional business communication.
• A strong understanding of legal and regulatory aspects related to credit, loans, and financial agreements is highly preferred.
• A proactive, self-organized, and detail-oriented individual with a strong ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
• High degree of responsibility, punctuality, and initiative in meeting deadlines and handling multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and servicing the related needs of the Swiss trading company, including trade finance, export collections, marine cargo insurance, credit insurance, and hedging solutions.
• Participate and support negotiations with international counterparties, including banks, insurance companies, export credit agencies, and brokers to secure favorable terms and build strong partnerships.
• Prepare detailed financial, KYC, legal, and other necessary documentation for banks and counterparties during the process of securing credit lines or insurance limits.
• Analyze indicative proposals from counterparties to ensure alignment with the company’s financial and operational requirements, and engage in negotiations to optimize terms.
• Monitor and ensure borrower adherence to conditions and covenants of loan agreements, and other contractual obligations related to pledges, sureties, insurance etc.
• Administer the credit portfolio, including invoice reconciliation, creation of payment instructions, and maintaining timely settlement processes.
