Job Summary
SiTime Corporation is hiring an Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant to join our finance team. The AP Accountant will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying financial transactions, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. This role requires strong attention to detail, knowledge of financial systems, and the ability to collaborate with our US team. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, deadline-driven, and capable of working in a fast-paced, demanding environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency. It is not necessary to meet all job requirements to be a qualified candidate for the position.
Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring correct coding, approvals, 2-way matching and compliance with company policies.
- Month-End Closing: Assist with AP closing activities, including accruals (prepare and post JE), reconciliations, and reporting.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate AP records, ensure tax, and support audits by providing necessary documentation.
- Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors to address payment inquiries and resolve any discrepancies efficiently.
- Team collaboration: Support your colleagues in financial areas of Procurement, Fixed Assets, accounts payable, and payroll wherever else your financial skills are needed ensuring financial accuracy and completeness.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to enhance AP processes, automation, and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements (Education must be included):
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 3+ years of accounting experience, experience in a global company preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial controls.
