Job Description
On this position you will:
- Provide coffee expertise where needed to marketing/sales and product development functions;
- Assist in new product and drinks development;
- Provide input on the desired level of quality required;
- Receive and administrate samples to be tested;
- Provide coffee, ingredients (Mixes, Cacao. Dry milk) and Tea tasting;
- Perform cupping (quality testing) of beans coffee;
- Administrate test results in a quality system;
- Maintain and update the sample archive;
- Determine the level of quality of the tested coffee and approve the tested coffee lot;
- Provides input for supplier quality performance and evaluations;
- Helps preparing supplier claims in case of non-quality;
- Be responsible for overall coffee, tea, and ingredients quality;
- Communicate with global R&D and quality departments;
- Provide baristas with taste and cupping support.
Qualifications
- Higher education (faculties of food industry, engineer-technologist)
- Experience in a similar position or as a Chief Technologist in the food industry for at least 2 years
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, developed communication skills, ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team
- Time management
- Good knowledge of English (at least B2)
