Job Description

On this position you will:

• Provide coffee expertise where needed to marketing/sales and product development functions;
• Assist in new product and drinks development;
• Provide input on the desired level of quality required;
• Receive and administrate samples to be tested;
• Provide coffee, ingredients (Mixes, Cacao. Dry milk) and Tea tasting;
• Perform cupping (quality testing) of beans coffee;
• Administrate test results in a quality system;
• Maintain and update the sample archive;
• Determine the level of quality of the tested coffee and approve the tested coffee lot;
• Provides input for supplier quality performance and evaluations;
• Helps preparing supplier claims in case of non-quality;
• Be responsible for overall coffee, tea, and ingredients quality;
• Communicate with global R&D and quality departments;
• Provide baristas with taste and cupping support.

Qualifications

• Higher education (faculties of food industry, engineer-technologist)
• Experience in a similar position or as a Chief Technologist in the food industry for at least 2 years
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, developed communication skills, ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team
• Time management
• Good knowledge of English (at least B2)
