Production Director
We are looking for an experienced and driven Production Director to lead the full setup and launch of a solid fuel booster production facility. This is a rare opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up and play a key role in developing strategic defense technologies for the future.
The Production Director will oversee every phase of the facility setup - from renovation and equipment installation to experimental production and full-scale operations. As the project progresses, the role will expand to include the development of advanced propulsion systems such as RAMJET, SCRAMjet, and turbojet engines. Future stages of production are planned to be deployed in secure underground locations to ensure operational safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the renovation and technical setup of the production site in line with safety and engineering standards
- Ensure compliance with Ukrainian regulations, especially regarding hazardous materials
- Oversee procurement, installation, and calibration of all production equipment
- Manage experimental production phases and improve fuel formulations and processes
- Formalize and document manufacturing workflows and protocols
- Recruit, train, and manage a capable production team
- Scale up operations to deliver the first batches of solid fuel boosters to customers
- Support planning of future large-scale, secure production facilities for advanced propulsion systems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar production or engineering leadership role
- Higher technical education (engineering or related field)
- Strong experience managing cross-functional or large production teams
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- English level: Intermediate or higher (А2+)
