Analyst (Business Valuation)
We are seeking an Analyst to enhance the Strategy & Business Development team of a Ukrainian group of companies with diversified business operations across multiple sectors, including finance, manufacturing, e-commerce, real estate development, agriculture, and others.
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
Assess new investment opportunities, including:
- macroeconomic predictions;
- market research;
- financial modelling and business valuation;
- investment case presentation
Support M&A transactions, from origination through closing and post-deal integration
Participate in the group investment strategy development and oversight
Work with 3 forms of financial statements
Advise portfolio companies on:
- strategy development
- business valuation;
- evaluation of investment projects;
- financial modelling
Monitor and review the strategy implementation by portfolio companies
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years of work experience with Big4 companies/second-tier audit firms/ investment banks;
- Financial modelling skills are a plus.
- Deep understanding of companies’ financial statements;
- Experience in business valuation is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills;
- Reporting skills (ability to present information clearly and concisely, both in oral and written communication);
- Project management skills are a plus.
- Participation in international qualification programs, such as ACCA/CIMA/CFA, is a plus.
- English level is upper-intermediate.
