CASH Officer - Dnipro, Ukraine - Intranet DCA

POSITION OBJECTIVES
DCA/NCA is looking for two organized and enthusiastic Cash Programme Officers with strong interpersonal skills and an appetite for learning to support the humanitarian program team in the implementation of DCA’s project of strengthening the civil society initiatives in its efforts in reconstruction. This is an entry level position intended for individuals who are eager to gain experience in the humanitarian sector. The successful candidates will have immense potential for professional growth with DCA/NCA’s expanding mission in Ukraine. The position will be based in Dnipro and will involve weekly travel to field implementation sites in the region and monthly visits to the Mykolaiv region.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage and identify local community-based responders and other relevant local stakeholders.
- Disseminate information and involve potential applicants in the grant competition.
- Support partners in project implementation.
- Facilitating focus group discussions and interviews with community members, local authorities, representatives of voluntary initiatives and NGOs/CO/CFs.
- Organising information sessions and monitoring visits.
- Advising applicants on the preparation of grant applications and budgets for submission to the competition.
- Participate in the selection committee for the grant call.
- Assist in the preparation of MoUs, supporting documents check.
- Review reports of initiatives.
- Make recommendations based on lessons learned.
- Complete monitoring reports.
- Ensure all procedures comply with Cash SoPs.
- Any other duties as required by the line manager.
