Job description:
We are looking for an experienced civil engineer to oversee the renovation of a public building in Zhytomyr oblast as part of a new project funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan to create a Family Hub in Zviagel city. The project will last for 7 months, starting in April, with responsibilities including managing the construction site, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Main responsibilities:
 • Overseeing the renovation of a public building (180 m2) on the construction site in Zviagel.
 • Ensuring compliance with plans and the BoQ.
 • Coordinating work with contractors, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
 • Conducting site inspections and ensuring work is carried out according to quality and safety standards.
 • Providing technical support and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process.
 • Working as part of a team in collaboration with the Senior Engineer and Program Coordinator.

Required qualifications:
 • At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering, including supervision of construction works and renovation projects.
 • Relevant higher education (e.g., Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field).
 • Willingness to work on-site in Zviagel for the entire duration of the project.

Preferred (but not required):
• English (intermediate or higher).

• Experience in public building renovation.

Working conditions:

• Location: Zviagel, Ukraine.
• Project duration: Until renovation work will be completed (about 7 months).
• Fixed salary: Determined based on the results of the interview and work experience.
