Role Overview
The Head of Brand Marketing Department will be responsible for all brand-building initiatives, communications, and market intelligence. This role plays a critical part in shaping AUK’s market position, driving student engagement, and ensuring strong financial performance through innovative marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis
- Lead market research and competition analysis to extract actionable insights.
- Monitor educational market trends and predict future demands.
- Conduct long-term strategic planning based on market intelligence.
- Develop and conduct student, alumni and partner surveys.
2. Brand Marketing Strategy
- Develop AUK’s annual brand marketing strategy and activity plan.
- Develop and execute communication, content and events strategy.
- Oversee content creation, ensuring consistency and high quality.
- Evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
3. Program Development and Launch
- Take an active role in new program development (NPD) from customer insights through to launch, ensuring seamless cross-functional cooperation and alignment in program rollouts.
- Lead AUK English courses and other AUK educational products targeted at pre-enrollment / enrollment numbers increase.
4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Act as a strategic partner to the Enrollment, PR, and Digital Marketing teams.
- Optimize A&P (Advertising & Promotion) investment efficiency.
- Oversee implementation of partnership projects.
5. Compliance and Governance
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with internal policies and legal requirements.
- Provide high-quality inputs to business strategy and marketing investment decisions.
- Foster transparent and efficient collaboration with internal teams and third parties.
6. Event marketing
- Develop annual event plan targeted at image and leadgen.
- Ensure excellent execution including promotion, agenda, speakers and presentations development.
7. Regional Expansion Support
- Lead AUK go-to market strategy in new regions (e.g. Dnipro).
- Develop events and marketing communication to build brand awareness and hit enrollment targets.
- Plan business trips (1–2 times per quarter).
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in higher education or corporate marketing.
- Proven track record in market research, brand strategy, and campaign management.
- Experience in new program development (NPD) and financial performance management.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Data-driven mindset with excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
- Exceptional communication and project management skills.
- Fluency in English.
