Procurement Buyer

In this dynamic role, you will support supplier relationships and contribute to procurement strategies that drive efficiency and value. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, you'll assist in negotiations, support cost-saving initiatives, and ensure operational excellence through supplier engagement and contract management. As part of the Procurement team, you will:

• Ensure supply security and cost-efficiency across relevant categories;
• Support supplier selection processes and assist in contract negotiations;
• Monitor contract expirations and maintain contract records in SAP ARIBA;
• Assist in optimizing payment terms and supplier stock levels;
• Evaluate supplier performance and participate in corrective action processes;
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement procurement decisions;
• Work closely with the Central Procurement Group and global partners;
• Contribute to the development of supply strategies and Procure-to-Pay processes;
• Support cost-saving and efficiency initiatives;
• Help in building price models and performing price variance analysis;
• Provide assistance during New Product Development meetings;
• Ensure adherence to CSR and compliance strategies.

Our new team member needs to:

• Have a higher university degree;
• Have experience as a buyer in a multinational company (experience in procurement of raw materials and packaging will be an advantage);
• Understand supply governance processes and have project management experience;
• Possess knowledge of technical and commercial aspects of sourced goods and services;
• Have stakeholder management experience;
• Demonstrate an Intermediate or higher level of English for collaboration with international colleagues;
• Be an advanced MS Office user, with SAP experience (as an advantage).
